Meet Constantin Uwiringiyimana : An Educator and Community Champion Shaping Lasting Change in Gisagara
Based in Gisagara District, Muganza Sector, Constantin Uwiringiyimana is one of the inspiring young professionals strengthening the IMENA Program and Eco-Club initiatives. With a Bachelor of Science in Education, he brings exceptional teaching skills, compassion, and structured problem-solving into the heart of community engagement.
As an Eco-Club mentor supporting _EP Rwamiko_and EP Saga, Constantin empowers learners to become active environmental stewards through hands-on activities. His commitment has helped students understand the link between a clean environment, good health, and stronger communities.
Beyond his work in schools, Constantin plays a major role in promoting_IMENA key behaviours_ across Muganza Sector. He collaborates closely with Frontline Functionaries (FLFs), local leaders, and community platforms to reinforce essential behaviours including antenatal care, One Egg Per Child Every Day, complementary feeding, hygiene and sanitation, and multihazards preparedness.
What makes Constantin exceptional is his consistency. He seizes every opportunity—from home visits and community gatherings to school assemblies—to guide families, listen to concerns, teach practical solutions, and strengthen community resilience. His strong and reliable network with FLFs has made him a trusted figure able to mobilize people and spark lasting behavioural change.
Constantin carries himself with maturity, dedication, and a sincere commitment to serving his community. He is a shining example of youth leadership at its best.
